Silent Waters is the eighth studio album by Finnish heavy metal band Amorphis. The lyrics are English translations of Finnish poems written by poet Pekka Kainulainen, who wrote them based on the character of Lemminkäinen in the Kalevala.
"Windows" is the first studio album by MVP (Michael Vescera Project). This is a top melodic heavy metal disc with some prog/symphonic influences. This album is a great melodic metal/rock album that also dabbles in other styles, similar to the way a old Queen album would. The album is full of incredible vocals, harmonies, songwriting, musicianship… Interview: What about the Beatles cover on "Windows"? Michael Vescera: Strawberry Fields is something that's sort of an anthem for MVP. When I first did shows in the beginning of MVP we would do that version. The crowds would go absolutely crazy for it, so we decided to put on "Windows".
Crossroads formed in 1988 at Sande, Lower Saxony released their first work, a demo actually back in 1989 and an EP titled “Borderline” in 1991. At the same year they released their first full-lenght album titled “The Wild One” playing melodic heavy metal. With their second release “Hype” the band moved to more melodic hard rock paths but with luck of strong compositions and the hit song that will rise their fame. On the album we also met as a guest Jens Becker from Running Wild while their song “You Won’t Get It” is the best effort of the record.
