Their most successful single, "Kick the Wall," was released in 1987. A skilled songwriter, Davis has written tunes for Martina McBride and Restless Heart.
Loud Lion created a huge buzz several years back, but their album never appeared - until now! Loud Lion is the brain child of Pop/Rock icon Bleu who put together the project to pay homage to Mutt Lange and Def Leppard. The album includes nine original songs 'in the style of' classic Def Leppard and features Bleu along with Taylor Locke (Bleu's co-creator and main partner in Loud Lion, most widely known as the lead guitarist for Rooney), Adam Ross (Rihanna's touring guitarist), Allison Robertson (The Donnas lead guitarist), Maclaine Diemer (Bang Camaro - keyboards, guitar), John Fields (uber producer), and Dylan Halacy (Bang Camaro - drums). All songs produced by Bleu.
LaMarca is the brainchild of soul singer Abe Lamarca, who began his singing career in the 1970s, before moving to Los Angeles singing demos and working for songwriters before Scottie Bros/CBS Records released his debut album “LaMarca”. It was a solo endeavor that found this soul lover singing some catchy pop songs, a few of which made it to the big screen, most notably, ‘Hold on Blue Eyes’ from the movie ‘The Wraith’ starring Charlie Sheen. He devoted most of the 90’s to raising his kids in Cleveland and singing radio jingles and T.V. commercials.
House Of Shakira are a Swedish rock formed by guitarists Mats Hallstensson and Anders Lundström that started out in Stockholm around 1991 under the moniker The Station. The mid 1990’s saw the band change their name to House of Shakira, named after a London bordello and found a settled line up with Per Schelander (bass), Tony Andersson (drums) and Andreas Eklund (vocals) alongside Hallstensson and Lundström. The band's motto is simply "Try every idea with an open mind", therefore every member of the band contributes with own ideas to make this music unique. House Of Shakira consists of five very different personalities that only have one thing that ties them together – to write and perform good songs. A good song is the key to make this band function, style or sound doesn’t matter as long as the song is good.
