Another Westcoast melodic AOR gem, this one's from 1987 and getting tougher to find by the day. A must for fans of Michael Breen, J.C. Mark and others.

The fifth season of the series Star Trek: Discovery is set in the 32nd century and tells the adventures of the crew of the starship Discovery. They go in search of a mysterious force that has been hidden for centuries and are also interested in other dangerous groups. The final season of the series features many new musical compositions from composer Jeff Russo. Russo is also known for his work on other TV series including “Fargo,” for which he won an Emmy Award. He has also worked on series for Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon Prime, Showtime Networks and other popular platforms. His work weaves together different genres and styles, and his music lends a special atmosphere to the projects in which he is involved.

The Norwegian Trombone Ensemble was formed in 2014 and consists of Audun Breen, Principal Trombone of the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra and Sverre Riise, Petter Winroth, and Clare Farr, the trombone section of the Norwegian Radio Orchestra. The four performers have extensive experience as soloists and chamber musicians. They are some of Norway's most outstanding trombonists and master most genres, from renaissance and baroque to contemporary, jazz and pop.
