Michael Coltham is a British musician and composer based in Maidstone, near London, who considers music to be the simple communication of intense emotion. Being emotionally adorned, his music uses simple arrangements with deep, rich and complex characteristics that combine the beautiful, natural resonance of individual sounds. Underpinning traditional instrumentation and modern textures with a pop approach to composition and arrangement, results in storytelling that blurs the lines between genres, his oeuvre becoming a classical crossover.
