"Father Figure" is a song by English singer George Michael from his debut studio album, "Faith" (1987). It was released on 28 December 1987 as the album's 4th single by Columbia Records. The song reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #11 on the UK Singles Chart. Additionally it was a Top 5 hit in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands and Spain.

Michael Unger, 2008 First Prize Winner in the American Guild of Organists National Young Artists Competition in Organ Performance, plays the Paul Fritts Opus 26 organ at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Rochester, New York. He presents a programme of works by Bach, Sweelinck, Brahms, Rheinberger, and more. Canadian-born organist and harpsichordist Michael Unger completed masters degrees at the Eastman School of Music as a student and teaching assistant of David Higgs and William Porter. In 2008, he was awarded the schools Jerald C Graue Musicology Fellowship, and at present he is completing doctoral studies at the same institution.
