I was feeling completely uninspired and non-creative, for a long time, and then I went on tour in June 2012, which reignited a flame of inspiration in me. I came home feeling completely energized and alive, the creativity flowing out of me faster than I could keep up. Most of the music from this album was written during that time, when my muse had been awoken.
