In 1982, the native of Luneburg in Northern Germany founded his own label "Night 'n' Day Records". Mike Mareen celebrated his commercial breakthrough in 1986 with the song "Love Spy". It reached TOP 20 positions in Germany and was sold more than 6 million times worldwide. CD1 contains an overview of the hits by Mike Mareen incl. a megamix. CD2 contains his best remixes and extended versions.

Mike Mareen one of big disco stars in 80's years. He made some productions for different artist with top producers (Luis Rodriguez - Dieter Bohlen's partner in Modern Talking works) and for himself too. He released in 1986 his biggest success hit "Love Spy" (#16 in Germany chart) and in the same year Mike released his first album entitled: "Dance Control". This rare hit-album available again for collectors in limited units with other more hits: "Double Trouble", "Here I am" and famous "Dancing in the dark"!

Mike Mareen is a German musician, who was born in post-war West Berlin, West Germany as Uwe-Michael Wischhoff, and grew up in Lüneburg. His first musical success was with the band Cemetery Institution who played at Hamburg's Star-Club. Mareen later became a merchant sailor, a job which eventually took him to New York City where he played with several American groups. Upon his return to Europe, Mareen became involved with the production of Euro disco records. During the 1980s, he had some considerable success, with frequent television appearances in Germany and Eastern Europe. His biggest hits were "Dancing In The Dark" (1985) and "Love Spy" (1986).
