Moxy, also informally known as The Black Album or Moxy I, is the self titled debut album by the Canadian hard rock and heavy metal band Moxy. Their independently produced album was originally released in 1975 by Polydor Records in Canada, then under Mercury Records label was reissued in 1976 for worldwide distribution, both labels were owned by PolyGram at the time (they are now owned by Universal Music Group).

Moxy II is the second studio album by the Canadian hard rock and heavy metal band Moxy, released in 1976. The album was recorded in Toronto, Canada at Sound Stage studio in April 1976 with Jack Douglas producing. The album produced two songs that hit the charts in Canada with "Take It Or Leave It" that reached number 14 and "Cause There's Another" that reached number 16 on the Top 30 on CHUM (AM) in Toronto Canada, and the KISS-FM Texas hits "Midnight Flight" and "One More Heartbreak". The album sold well because of strong live appearances that included tours with Black Sabbath, Boston, and Triumph with heavy promotion by the label (Polydor) (Mercury Records).

Christopher Joseph Lennertz (born January 2, 1972) is an American musical composer for films, television shows, and video games. He is perhaps best known for his musical score for the 2007 film Alvin and the Chipmunks, Hop, Think Like A Man, and Warner Bros. comedy Horrible Bosses as well as the video game series Medal of Honor created by Steven Spielberg. He composed the score for Supernatural and more recently Revolution, two television series created by Eric Kripke. He also scored Galavant and Sausage Party with Alan Menken and Marvel's Agent Carter. Currently he composes the score for the Netflix sci-fi series Lost in Space.

Oh What a Feeling: A Vital Collection of Canadian Music is a 4-CD box set released in 1996 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Juno Awards. A second box set, Oh What a Feeling 2, was released in 2001 to mark the awards' 30th anniversary, and a third set, Oh What a Feeling 3, was released in 2006 for the 35th anniversary. All of the sets feature popular Canadian songs from the 1960s onward. The sets were titled for the song "Oh What a Feeling" by rock band Crowbar. The original 25th anniversary box set peaked at #3 on the Canadian Albums Chart and was certified Diamond in Canada.

Founded in Toronto, Canada in 1976 - Disbanded in 1989 - Reformed in 1994-1996, 2006 and again since 2011.
This trio came from Toronto around the end of the 70's but got slightly over-shadowed by the profusion of bands exploding all over the album charts, with Rush, Triumph, Saga, Max Webster etc.. It is no wonder some could not get their share of sunlight, among which Goddo, Moxy, Zon, Santers and most certainly FM. Their first LP full of a weird sort of hard rock with strange studio tampering alerted most potential fans that this was a very particular band with their lead violinist Nash The Slash playing as a mummy and Martin Deller at the drum seat as well as Cameron Hawkins on bass…
