What’s so instantly striking about Crosby, Stills and Nash’s CSN, their second group album in eight years, is that it sounds so much like the debut LP even though its makers are so vastly changed.

The band’s next album, Melancholia, approaches quickly with an August 18, 2017 release date. The instrumental melodic mathcore band goes full-on calculus with this new song, crafting speedy passages that seem intent on giving the listener a surge of adrenaline. Everyone seems to be on their A game, giving us surgically precise shredding and atmospheric beauty all in one track. Guitarist Andrew Cresto states that ‘”Lost in a Reverie” perfectly reflects the album’s theme of violently repressed emotion, only to settle into a melancholic calm, much like life’. There’s a lot to take in, just like with their first single, but luckily for us YouTube has a repeat button! Save Us From The Archon will be joining The Ongoing Concept and Eidola as special guests on a tour throughout the United States starting August 17.
