This is probably one of the best reissues in the new Conniff/Collectables two-fer catalog. The sound is marvelous, the songs are unique, and the two albums ("It Must Be Him" and "Honey") were huge hits! "It Must Be Him" was probably Conniff's first album of nothing but contemporary songs of the day and it's a real pleasure to hear. All the songs have wonderful arrangements, the ones I enjoyed the most were "Music to Watch Girls By", "Somethin' Stupid", "It Must Be Him", "A Man and a Woman", "There's a Kind of Hush", "Up, Up and Away", and "The Impossible Dream". Well since that's most of the album there, I know you should buy this

Following the first Andy Williams greatest-hits album on Columbia by only three years (available in a three-for-one with Vol. 2 and Love Story), Vol. 2 focused primarily on Williams singles of the early 1970s, among them the easy listening chart Top Tens "Home Lovin' Man," "(Where Do I Begin) Love Story," and "Love Theme from 'The Godfather' (Speak Softly Love)." There were also a couple of big easy listening hits from the '60s that had been left off the first volume, "Music to Watch Girls By" and "In The Arms of Love," as well as re-recordings of two of the singer's 1950s hits, "The Village of St. Bernadette" and "Lonely Street." The result was hardly adequate as a survey of Williams's best early '70s work, but it was a typical compilation of its time.

Album released by American instrumentalist and band leader William Correa (New York, 1934-1983), aka 'Willie Bobo'. He was one of the greatest drummers of his time (the 50's to 70), especially with congas and timbales, plus a radiant singer and showman on stage. Worked, collaborated or recorded with artists such as George Shearing, Cal Tjader, Herbie Mann, Mongo Santamaria, Pérez Prado, Tito Puente, Miles Davis, Cannonball Adderley, Herbie Hancock, Wes Montgomery, etc. Willie left a unique legacy as a teacher of percussion (bongo, conga, timbale and drum), was able to fuse jazz and Latin music with R & B and made forays into pop.

His long-running TV series The Andy Williams Show as top-rated in both the US and the UK throughout this period. This sixty track set includes Twenty-One UK Top 40 singles, from 1962 to 2002. Williams had eight UK Top 10 hits, including "Can't Get Used To Losing You", "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" And "Can't Help Falling In Love" in the '60s, along with "Solitaire" and "(Where Do I Begin) Love Story" In the '70s. Drummer Gerry Gibbs has been living a recurring dream with slight variations for the past few years. In December of 2012, he laid down tracks with two of his idols—the legendary Ron Carter and the estimable Kenny Barron—and dubbed their group the Thrasher Dream Trio.
