The Pet Parade marks a milestone for Johnson, who celebrates 20 years of Fruit Bats in 2021. In some ways still a cult band, in other ways a time-tested act, Fruit Bats has consistently earned enough small victories to carve out a career in a notoriously fickle scene.

In opera, the orchestra creates the subconscious, the backstory, and the soundscape of the drama. Brooding and dark, overwhelming and passionate, or edgy and biting, the orchestra's sound guides our imagination, and when released from its supporting role in the pit the result can be a thrilling experience of musical storytelling.

"The compositions were commissioned by No-Nation with PRSF for Music and debuted as ‘The Secret Life of Organs’ in 2016 with a run of live dates in the UK supported by Arts Council England. The original pieces have since been revised to make up ‘All Night Chroma’. Performed at the Harrison & Harrison organ of the Royal Festival Hall by James McVinnie. Following on from the universal critical acclaim of their first album with Resonus (This Christmas Night - RES10113), the Choir of Worcester College, Oxford - under the direction of Stephen Farr - return with a second album of contemporary Christmas Carols.

New York-based violist Nathan Schram's debut solo album Oak and the Ghost is now available on New Amsterdam's Windmill Series. Featuring Attacca Quartet (of which Schram is a member) and Becca Stevens, Oak and the Ghost features 9 of Schram's original compositions and will be available on all digital platforms on November 15.

The Storioni Trio specializes not only in piano trio repertory but also in triple concertos – works for piano trio and orchestra. The group performs on both period and modern instruments, and it has commissioned a good deal of contemporary music.
