Neo-soulman Matthew E. White first played with neo-Laurel Canyon songstress Flo Morrissey at a Lee Hazlewood tribute concert, where they performed "Some Velvet Morning" together. Pleased with their chemistry, they embarked on recording a collection of covers, hunkering down with White's Spacebomb collective to cover ten songs from the past and present.
Fabrice Bony is a multi-instrumentalist and composer from France. He was born in 1970 and began to study the drums at the age of six. He obtained a professional music degree from Centre Musical et Créatif de Nancy in 1991.In 1992, he was a member of a blues trio called Shotgun Blues which opened for John Lee Hooker in San Francisco that year. The following year he was asked by Ange's bass player to tour with that band as their drummer on their "Les larmes du Dalaï-Lama" tour. Following that, Fabrice toured and recorded with many French and American blues and rock bands and singers, including Nino Ferrer, Tomcat Blake, Clifton Chenier, Rictus and Dorothée Daniel.
