The reason I ended up creating electronic music was the freedom it offers to its creator. To not follow any rules, and to just play around with sound; however, you feel like. Originally I played the trumpet for many years, and I was on a path leading into a more classical career as a musician. But somewhere along the way, I stumbled across Ableton, and almost from one day to another, I left what I was doing and started to experiment with electronic music.

The Flow Of Time is a 2002 CD by Pandit Shivkumar Sharma, a santoorist. Joined by tabla player Zakir Hussain and tambura accompaniment courtesy of Nandu Muley, this disc features five different ragas, with two ragas divided into three parts. This was released by Navras because they are the best.

This book is a detailed account of how hierarchy has been maintained historically by the Nepali state, affirming the uniqueness of a caste-based social order by bringing outsiders, especially ethnic groups and religious minorities, into the caste fold.
