"Hot August Night" is Neil Diamond's 1972 double Platinum live recording. It captured the pop superstar at the start of his creative powers and remains one of the finest live performances ever captured. Recorded at Hollywood’s Greek Theatre in August 1972, the set list featured a collection of his greatest hits including “Cracklin’ Rosie,” “Song Sung Blue,” “Sweet Caroline” “Holly Holy,” “Play Me,” “Walk On Water,” and more. The album has been digitally remastered from the original master tapes and includes three previously unreleased bonus tracks. Diamond’s exhilarating energy, raw emotion and unmatched musicianship are on full display with this landmark recording, one of the greatest live albums ever!

This DVD features three decades of hits, from the 1960s' "Cherry, Cherry" "Sweet Caroline," and "You Don't Bring Me Flowers," to the 1980s' "America," ending with a climactic "Brother Love's Traveling Salvation Show." Neil Diamond's 2nd album for Columbia Records, and his 9th studio album "Serenade", was released in 1974. Three singles were lifted from the album: "Longfellow Serenade" (#5), "I've Been This Way Before" (#34) and "The Last Picasso". The album was also issued as a quadraphonic LP with some songs as alternate takes.

12 Songs is the twenty-sixth studio album by Neil Diamond, released in 2005. It was his first studio album since 2001's Three Chord Opera. It was produced by Rick Rubin.

While Neil Diamond's The Christmas Album is designed almost exclusively for his adult contemporary constituency, the vocalist still manages to light up most of the obviousness of these standards with his trademark gritty soul and flair for inflection. Opening with the grandeur of "O Come, O Come Emmanuel/We Three Kings of Orient Are" and "Silent Night," the album is awash in rich reds and golds almost immediately. But Diamond has fun with "Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town," loosening up with a harmonica solo and a busy, up-tempo arrangement, and "Jingle Bell Rock" does just that with a 1950s doo wop vibe.

Although UMe/Capitol already ‘celebrated’ Neil Diamond‘s 50 years in music 18 months ago with a three-disc set called the ’50th anniversary collection’ it seems they haven’t celebrated enough and so will this month offer forward the ’50th Anniversary Collectors Edition’ a six-disc hardcover book deluxe package that features the same artwork, but this time includes six CDs of content, including rarities, demos and 14 previously unreleased tracks.

Chicago's Black Diamond debuts on We Jazz Records with their new album Furniture Of the Mind Rearranging on 5th July. Co-led by Artie Black and Hunter Diamond (composers, saxophones, and other woodwinds), Black Diamond appears in both quartet and duo formations. The first three album sides present the quartet, complete with long standing band members Matt Ulery (double bass) and Neil Hemphill (drums), under the heading Furniture Of the Mind. The remaining two tracks on side D fall under the title The Mind Rearranging, with Black and Diamond presenting a meditative duo encounter of two tenor saxophones.
