Polyhymnia is the third full-length from British-Bahraini trumpeter, composer, and bandleader Yazz Ahmed. Her remarkable meld of post-bop jazz, Arabic folk traditions, and electronic sound design has brought her to a prominent and influential place on London's vibrant jazz scene. Like 2017's La Saboteuse, the album is adorned with a stunning six-panel sleeve design by Sophie Bass. The music here is an extended suite-like work commissioned by Tomorrow's Warriors in 2015. It was performed by members of the Nu Civilisation Orchestra in a concert at the Women of the World Festival on International Women's Day.

The OverGround Collective is an 18-piece band put together by the Portuguese composer Paulo Dias Duarte. The project is a result of Paulo’s obsessive research on improvisation and its relation with pre-composed material. After shadowing many improvisers in the London scene, Paulo has put together a group of players, with very distinctive improvisational languages and techniques, in a project where he uses their different approaches to improvisation as compositional tools, creating a very eclectic musical landscape where the improviser itself is a part of the score.

Scrooge (1951), released as A Christmas Carol in the U.S., is one of the best-known film adaptations of Charles Dickens's A Christmas Carol. It starred Alastair Sim as Ebenezer Scrooge and was directed by Brian Desmond Hurst, with a screenplay by Noel Langley.

From March to May 2015, John Zorn composed 300 new tunes that were eventually collected into a book of music
he called The Bagatelles. After 5 years of performances around the world in venues large and small, the choicest
ensembles have gone into the studio and the recordings are finally being made available in a series of limited edition
4-CD BOX sets. Each set will present four ensembles performing a unique program of Zorn’s Bagatelles.
