ON Steinway

On Steinway is a 1972 album by pianist Mal Waldron. Originally a Japanese release, this is the 2005 remaster reissued by Fuel 2000 via Varèse Sarabande.

"The Steinway Sessions" is Grammy-nominated pianist, composer and arranger David Benoit’s first ever solo piano record and to mark the occasion, he has chosen a repertoire of songs that are closely associated with him and his concert repertoire. This album contains several well-known covers, including Elton John’s "Your Song" and "Linus and Lucy" by Vince Guaraldi, as well as many of Benoit’s own compositions.
