Of Monsters & Men are Icelandic group that meshes chamber pop with dramatic, highly composed indie rock. After two years of touring, writing music and developing their sound, the award winning band is back with a more complex and compelling sound that is sure to excite their fans and draw in listeners across the world.

My Head Is An Animal (10th Anniversary Edition) will feature four tracks that were not on the 2012 U.S. release, including two never-before-released songs: "Phantom" and "Sugar In A Bowl."

"Delivering these songs using everything from glockenspiels to Motown drums, chants and stomping feet, they turn campfire singalongs into skyscraping anthems, the contrast between male and female vocalists Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir and Ragnar Þórhallsson making them sound something like a fusion of Cyndi Lauper, the Cardigans and Arcade Fire. Songs about beasts and forests abound with joy, but with a less tangible, mournful undercurrent that gives them an otherwordly, magical quality

Four years after the release of their hardened sophomore effort, Beneath the Skin, Iceland's Of Monsters and Men returned with Fever Dream, a reinvigorated change of pace that gives the band a shimmering synth pop makeover. Stepping away from the folksy anthems that broke them across the globe, the quintet absorbed bright synths, programmed drums, and beat loops, resulting in a surprisingly satisfying hybrid.

Stripped down performance of the full record from a cabin in Iceland of their debut album. My Head Is an Animal is the debut studio album by the Icelandic indie folk band Of Monsters and Men, released through Record Records in Iceland on 20 September 2011. After their success, topping the Icelandic charts with their debut single, "Little Talks", the band signed with Universal Music Group and the album was released internationally through Republic Records on 3 April 2012. The title of the album comes from the second line in "Dirty Paws".

Today, multi-platinum Icelanders Of Monsters and Men unveil their new TÍU EP via Republic Records featuring new single (and video for) “Lonely Weather”. This release arrives on the heels of the world premiere of their TÍU short documentary at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City last night. To celebrate the premiere, the band took the stage and performed three tracks from the EP, also featured in the doc.
