The second recording by Old and New Dreams was, like its first from three years earlier, named after the group. Trumpeter Don Cherry, tenor saxophonist Dewey Redman, bassist Charlie Haden, and drummer Ed Blackwell made for a mighty team, performing high-quality free bop in the tradition of the Ornette Coleman Quartet (of which they were all alumni). In addition to two of Ornette's tunes (including a lengthy exploration of "Lonely Woman"), the musicians each contributed an original of their own. Stirring music in a setting that always brought out the best in each of these musicians.

THE COMPLETE REMASTERED RECORDINGS ON BLACK SAINT & SOUL NOTE is a monographic box-set collection aimed at recounting the most beautiful chapters that revolutionised the history of jazz.
This new series was launched in March 2010 with the simultaneous release of four box-sets, including albums by some of the artists who participated in the success of the outstanding labels. A philological work, beginning with the original recordings on multi-track master tapes, patiently integrally remastered paying strict attention to the sound quality.

Joshua Redman is joined by drummer Brian Blade, bassist Scott Colley, and trumpeter Ron Miles for Still Dreaming—an album inspired by his father Dewey Redman's 1976–1987 band, Old and New Dreams—due on Nonesuch Records May 25, 2018. Along with the senior Redman, Old and New Dreams featured an all-star lineup of Ornette Coleman collaborators—cornetist Don Cherry, bassist Charlie Haden, and drummer Ed Blackwell—who continued pushing musical boundaries as they had with Coleman even after their former bandleader moved in a new direction. Still Dreaming features six new compositions by the new band as well as one tune by Haden and one from Coleman.

These Dreams Will Never Sleep: The Best Of Graham Parker 1976-2015 includes 90 tracks across six CDs, a compilation live DVD, a 36-page hardcover book featuring a new interview with Parker and an overview written by Holly A. Hughes, plus a poster and three postcards.. These Dreams Will Never Sleep, The Best Of, 1976-2015 celebrates the incredible 40 year career of one of Britain's most seminal songwriters - Graham Parker. The 124 track box consists of three anthology discs with some of Graham's best loved recorded work as a solo artist and with The Rumour - one of the UK's pioneering pre-punk bands. The Live At The BBC 19 track disc includes very rare, choice picks from Graham Parker & The Rumour's 1979 Live At Hammersmith Odeon show, and Live From BBC Sight and Sound in 1977. Discs five and six are Live From The London Forum, these never before heard recordings are taken from Graham Parker & The Rumour's last ever live show in 2015, and also feature the legendary Rumour Brass Section for the first time since 1980.

On his buoyant 2018 album Still Dreaming, Joshua Redman evokes the spirit of his late father, saxophonist Dewey Redman (who died in 2006), and the elder Redman's adventurous work with longtime friend and bandleader Ornette Coleman. Specifically, the younger Redman draws inspiration from Coleman's Old and New Dreams band, which also featured his father along with cornetist Don Cherry, drummer Ed Blackwell, and bassist Charlie Haden. An outgrowth of Coleman's earlier '60s quartet, Old and New Dreams (which was active from 1976 to 1987) was a boundary-pushing ensemble rife with bluesy lyricism, atonal harmonics, and frenetic swing.
