Two discs of groundbreaking electronica taken from Orbital's 20 year career. Features Orbital classics alongside brand new remixes by Herve and Tom Middleton and previously unreleased live tracks.
Orbital became one of the biggest names in techno during the mid-'90s by solving the irreconcilable differences previously inherent in the genre: to stay true to the dance underground and, at the same time, force entry into the rock arena, where an album functions as an artistic statement - not a collection of singles - and a band's prowess is demonstrated by the actual performance of live music. Though Phil and Paul Hartnoll first charted with a single, the 1990 British Top 20 hit "Chime," the duo later became known for critically praised albums…
Legendary electronic music duo Orbital return with new album Optical Delusion, the Hartnoll brothers first studio album since 2018’s Monster’s Exist. Recorded in Orbital’s Brighton studio, Optical Delusion includes contributions from Sleaford Mods, Penelope Isles, Anna B Savage, The Little Pest, Dina Ipavic, Coppe, and perhaps most surprisingly, The Medieval Baebes.

Celebrating 30 Years of Orbital - new editions containing reworks, remakes, remixes and re-imaginings of landmark Orbital tracks based on the duo’s unrivalled live show. The pandemic caused Orbital to miss their actual thirtieth anniversary, but it gave the band pause to think and find a way to celebrate their past that was actually about the future and 30 Something was born. Remixes on the package include: Yotto, ANNA, Jon Hopkins, Dusky, Joris Voorn, Logo 1000, Eli Brown, Shanti Celeste and more.
Orbital are putting out a new album this September, titled Monsters Exist. The album, to be released on September 14th, is Paul and Phil Hartnoll's first proper studio LP since 2012's Wonky. (That same year, they also provided the score for the movie Pusher.) Two years later, in 2014, the brothers announced Orbital would be parting ways after 25 years, only to return with a new single, "Kinetic 2017," last year.
