Jerry Scutts - Focke-Wulf Fw 190
Osprey Publishing | 2002 | ISBN: 1841762687 | 62 pages | PDF | 9.68 MB
Osprey Modelling Manuals 20

Osprey Modelling Manual 20 examines the Focke-Wulf 190, which entered Luftwaffe service in 1941. It would serve out the war as the best of all German fighters and fighter-bombers, and its variants would include Kurt Tank's extreme Ta152 tank-buster version (4 x 20mm, 1 x 30mm cannon). With detailed step-by-step model photography, specially commissioned walkround photography, scale drawings and wartime shots, these books will provide all the details needed to model the most common A8 version as well as the long-nosed FW190D and other variants. There is a full roundup of the models available on the market, details of where you can see the real thing, a select bibliography, and survey of websites of interest. Missing pages: 44, 59-61.

American Aviation Historical Society, "Osprey - Aircam Aviation Series #S.17. 50 Fighters 1938-1945".
Publisher: Osprey | ISBN: 0850451302 | 1973 edition | PDF | 48 Pages | 5.43 MB

This Osprey Aircam Special (was it ever published as ARCO/Aircam?) delivers just what it promises: 50 fighters from the period 1938-1945. Great care has been taken to offer the reader -most likely a modeller- not the 100th version of a Spitfire or a Messerschmitt, but some real unknown -for 1973- birds are shown, or at least rare versions of known planes.

Tiger Squadrons (Osprey Colour)
Author: Tim Laming
Osprey Publishing | July 1991 | ISBN-10: 1855321467 | 128 Pages | PDF | 7.46 MB

From the Introduction:
It all started back in 1961, when three NATO fighter squadrons assembled at RAF Woodbridge in Suffolk and hosted what became known as 'Tiger Meet'. The year before, aircrew of the 79th Tactical Fighter Squadron, US Air Force at Woodbridge suggested the idea of creating an informal fraternity of NATO fighter units which had tigers as part of their official badges. The 79th TFS already enjoyed a close association with No 74 Sqn of the Royal Air force at nearby RAF Coltishall, and links were quickly established with Escadre de Chasse 1/12 of L'Armée de L'Air based at Cambrai.
The main objectives of the Tiger Meet were to encourage professional relationships between NATO Squadrons and foster solidarity within the air forces of the alliance. Thirty years on, NATO is still very much in business; all of the original tiger squadrons remain operational, their number swollen by many new units, including some from outside Europe. Whenever possible tiger squadrons come together as a team, discuss their varied operational roles and continue the spirit of friendship.

Korea: The Air War 1950-1953 (Osprey Colour)
Author: Jack C. Nicholls, Warren E. Thompson
Osprey Publishing | February 1991 | ISBN-10: 1855321157 | 128 Pages | PDF | 26.56 MB

From the Introduction:
Many veterans of the Korean War may sometimes wonder why so much sympathy and attention is lavished on those who lost in Vietnam, when so little is given to those who successfully preserved the integrity of South Korea, enhancing the reputation of the USA and its allies by winning a Western victory in the Cold War. The UN Forces lost 142,000 casualties in Korea described by one prominent historian as the 'Century's nastiest little war'.
