Eilean Flannel Piano is a beautifully imperfect and close recorded upright piano designed for intimate neo-classical and film music inspired by artists such as Hania Rani, Ólafur Arnalds, and Nils Frahm.

"Extended" is a term usually used to describe unorthodox techniques used when playing a musical instrument in an unconventional way, to coax new timbres from a traditional instrument.

Welcome to Plucked Grand Piano – a library dedicated to deep sampling of plucked and hammer struck grand piano strings. The Plucked Grand Piano was created by public demand from our users, since its never been properly deep sampled before. We took a world class piano (same as our Bowed Grand Piano) through a humiliating process by recording every string with a custom pick, but with more emphasis on round robin (4 pr. string), since the playing style has a percussive quality to it. The instrument is best described as a hybrid crossbreed between a harp, clavinet, guitar/lute and the unforgettable sound of the harpsichord. In addition we added a bonus hammer-struck articulation, using a custom miniature hammer. The sound has some resemblance to a hammered dulcimer. The fancy naming and branding of the piano is irrelevant to us. We want the samples and music to speak for itself and we hope it speaks to you too.

Dark and Rich
The 1971 Estonia Grand Piano is a comprehensively deep-sampled soviet-era Grand Piano. The Estonia Piano line is known as the secret Steinway of Eastern Europe – with a uniquely dark, emotional, and melancholic characteristic.

The Drinking Piano is a fat-bottomed monster upright with a classic beer hall sound. This Ivors and Pond piano has got all of the brutal wear and tear you'd expect from a 100 year-old instrument that has been played hard and put away wet, night after night.

The Production Voices' Estate Grand Piano is a beautifully hand-sampled Kawai GS 60 6'9? grand piano with three different microphone perspectives including a mono-capatible M/S (mid-side) microphone perspective. It was recorded with care and with only the finest equipment at a country estate in the heart of corn country in Southern Ontario Canada.

The 8Dio Studio Vintage Series Suitcase 54 Piano is the most comprehensively deep-sampled Suitcase ever created. Recorded and processed at 24-Bit / 96Khz at our famous British Studio through a large custom NEVE desk.
