5 CD's exclusive collection by Duth rock band George Baker Selection released in 2008 on EMI Music Netherlands BV, includes 100 tracks. George Baker Selection was rock band of Hoorn, Netherlands. In 1967, George Baker (Johannes Bouwens) was living in Wormerveer and joined the band Soul Invention, a soul band which played covers of songs by Otis Redding and Sam and Dave. They changed their name to "George Baker Selection", Bouwens naming himself for a character from a detective novel. The band consisted of Jan Hop, Jacobus Greuter, George The, and Jan Visser. Their first album, Little Green Bag (1970), produced an immediate worldwide hit: their debut single, "Little Green Bag" reached No. 16 on the Cash Box magazine chart and No. 21 on the Billboard Top 100 in the United States.

Among his later releases, this is perhaps the collection that offers the most variety to the listener. It is a combination of up-beat rhythms and some very soothing interpretations of mid-to-late 2000's music. For example, Ray's rendition of Diana Ross's "Do You Know Where You're Going To" is more listenable than the original, and "Send in the Clowns" even more so!

Oscar Benito had his 36-string harp custom built in his home town of Asuncion. The Paraguayan harp differs in sound and playing method from the concert harp. The sound depends on the wood used. The wood (from local forests) is carefully selected and then has to be stored for a certain time in order to get the desired full sound. In the past people used to store the wood for decades in order to provide their childrens children with the proper material to build a harp. Some of this magic still remains in the Paraguayan harp. Oscar Benitos timeless Paraguayan harp is presented here with a clear, appealing cover design and liner notes detailing his life and musical journey. This release features melodious and relaxing music from the wilderness of South America. It is truly beautiful music that will appeal to a wide variety of musical tastes.

The Dutch guitarist was part of a mini dutch invasion of the early 1970's (along with Tee Set and Shocking Blue) and hit with "Little Brown Bag", but it wasn't until 1975 that he hit big with "Una Paloma Blanca", adopted by the disco set before disco went mainstream. This disc compiles his best material on a single volume.

How to explain the extensive popularity of German folksinger Heino to someone unfamiliar with that country's culture? Imagine hoards of adoring fans, from children to grandparents, going gaga over Elvis. Then in Elvis' place, substitute another artist who goes by a single moniker, a blond-haired senior citizen clad in vinyl rectangular glasses. His voice is deep, the deepest baritone imaginable, which he uses to belt out his hit polkas and marches.
