Path of Fury

When they debuted in the early '90s, Maryland hard rock workhorses Clutch combined elements of funk and metal inspired by Faith No More and Led Zeppelin. Through the decades, they've built a devoted fan following through constant touring and hit alt-rock crossover albums, starting in the late '90s with Clutch and The Elephant Riders and extending into the 2000s. By the 2010s, the veteran quartet reached new heights, achieving late-era success with 2013's Earth Rocker and 2015's Psychic Warfare, which both peaked in the Top 15 of the Billboard 200.

Those who have followed Glen Hansard's career since his Academy Award winning turn in the film Once will have witnessed one artistic arc: the journey of a Dublin busker who cut his teeth on the greats - Dylan, Van Morrison, Leonard Cohen - and followed the path of the troubadour to great effect. But there is another thread running through Hansard's musicianship; in his decades as lead singer of Irish stalwarts The Frames, rock and folk ambitions coexisted with moments of strangeness, intimacy, and stillness.

Caterina Nix is a superb young vocalist from Chile, who was found by chance by former Stratovarius composer and guitarist Timo Tolkki during one of his tours of South America. Timo was supremely confident about Caterina s singing abilities from and eventually he managed to write and produce for her the first Chaos Magic album, in addition to having her perform on the second Avalon rock opera album. For the new Chaos Magic album, "Furyborn" Chilean vocalist Caterina Nix worked in collaboration with fellow Chilean producer, singer, and musician Nasson.
