After 13 years producing studio albums that were not-so-favorably received by the critical establishment, ex-Beatle Paul McCartney made a remarkable return to the road in 1989-1990 with his "Get Back" world tour. The show, which also featured Paul's wife Linda, as well as a full band, showcased music from throughout McCartney's career, with a carefully-selected set list comprised of just the hits…

RAM, originally released in May of 1971, is the only album to be credited to both Paul and Linda McCartney and was Paul’s second post-Beatles LP. It was overshadowed at the time by the drama of the dissolution of The Beatles, as played out in the world’s media. The album topped the charts hitting #1 in the UK and #2 in the US. While RAM polarized critics upon its release, music fans and critics alike since have overwhelmingly embraced it, with Rolling Stone, for example, revising their original review up to 4 stars. Recently RAM has enjoyed even further re-appraisal and acknowledgement including a number of tribute albums.

Allusion to the digital world though it may be, there's a sweet, elegiac undercurrent to the title of Paul McCartney's Memory Almost Full, an acknowledgement that it was written and recorded when McCartney was 64, the age he mythologized on Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, released almost exactly 40 years before Memory…

Flaming Pie is the thirteenth release in the Paul McCartney Archive Collection, personally supervised by Paul McCartney and remastered at Abbey Road Studios. Originally released on May 5, 1997, Paul's critically acclaimed and universally beloved tenth solo album Flaming Pie ended a four-year gap between McCartney studio albums. Produced by Paul, Jeff Lynne, and George Martin and featuring a supporting cast of family and friends including Ringo Starr, Steve Miller, Linda McCartney, and son James, Flaming Pie is equal parts a masterclass in songcraft and a sustained burst of joyful spontaneity. Flaming Pie would represent yet another pinnacle in Paul’s solo catalogue: Released to rapturous reviews, the album would be Paul's most commercially successful release of the '90s, achieving his highest chart positions since the '80s and would receive gold certifications in the US, UK, Japan and more. The 2CD features the original album remastered + 21 tracks of bonus audio.

"McCartney" is the debut solo album by English rock musician Paul McCartney. It was issued on Apple Records in April 1970 after McCartney had resisted attempts by his Beatles bandmates to have the release delayed to allow for Apple's previously scheduled titles, notably the band's "Let It Be" album. McCartney recorded his album during a period of depression and confusion, following John Lennon's private announcement in September 1969 that he was leaving the Beatles, and the conflict over its release further estranged McCartney from his bandmates. A press release in the form of a self-interview, supplied with UK promotional copies of McCartney, led to the announcement of the group's break-up on 10 April 1970.

"Many years from now" must have seemed like an understatement to 16-year-old Paul McCartney, wondering if he'd still be needed or fed at the age of 64. As it turned out, all doubt as to the latter had ceased by his 22nd birthday (though few could have predicted he'd end up washing down those meals with the liquid pride of Seattle). As to the former? Now that McCartney, as of the date of this album's release, has reached that mythic age, his greatest work is 40 years behind him, his solo peak over 30 years gone…

When Paul McCartney finally released his first proper '90s studio album, it turned out to be his Greenpeace/Earth Firststatement. The songs on this collection reflect Macca's philosophy regarding ecological awareness ("C'Mon People", "Cosmically Conscious"), the evils of animal testing ("Looking For Changes"). There are also love songs for wife Linda, who shared Paul's beliefs ("Golden Earth Girl", "I Owe It All ToYou"). OFF THE GROUND also reunited the songwriting team ofMcCartney and Elvis Costello on the ocarina-spiced "Mistress and Maid" and the tale of unrequited love that is "The Lovers That Never Were"…
