Pete’s Dragon

The Iron Man: The Musical by Pete Townshend, released in 1989, is an adaptation of Ted Hughes' story The Iron Man, produced and largely composed and performed by Pete Townshend of The Who. It also stars Roger Daltrey, Deborah Conway, John Lee Hooker, and Nina Simone. The three then-surviving members of The Who (Daltrey, John Entwistle, and Townshend) performed as a group in two songs, "Dig" and "Fire", although the latter was not penned by Townshend. A stage version was mounted at the Young Vic theatre in London in 1993. On the strength of this, Warner Bros. optioned the story for a movie which, with a very different adaptation of the story, became The Iron Giant; Townshend received an Executive Producer credit.

The Magical Music of Walt Disney is a 4-volume compilation album of Disney music and songs up through 1978, to coincide with the fiftieth anniversary of Mickey Mouse. However, it did not put The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad, Alice in Wonderland, The Aristocats, and Bedknobs and Broomsticks on the records.

The Last Letter from Your Lover is an upcoming British romantic drama film directed by Augustine Frizzell and written by Nick Payne and Esta Spalding, based on Jojo Moyes' 2012 novel of the same name. It stars Felicity Jones, Shailene Woodley, Callum Turner, Nabhaan Rizwan, Joe Alwyn, and Ncuti Gatwa.

Daniel Hart is a composer and performer based in Los Angeles. Hart made his feature film debut in 2013 with the critically acclaimed Ain't Them Bodies Saints, which began his collaboration with filmmaker David Lowery. Hart has composed the music for all of Lowery's films, including Pete's Dragon, A Ghost Story, Old Man and The Gun, and 2021's The Green Knight. Over the past decade, he has also scored multiple TV shows, from Fox's The Exorcist, to SMILF, Netflix's The Society, and the upcoming Interview With The Vampire. Hart has written music for This American Life, and composed the score for S Town, one of the most popular podcasts of all time.

A Ghost Story is the new film from director David Lowery (Pete's Dragon) starring Casey Affleck (Manchester By The Sea) and Rooney Mara (Carol). In this singular exploration of legacy, love, loss, and the enormity of existence, the movie follows a recently deceased, white-sheeted ghost returning to his suburban home to try and reconnect with his bereft wife. Highly anticipated, A Ghost Story is being released by A24 on July 7, 2017. The score to A Ghost Story was composed by Lowrey's frequent collaborator Daniel Hart (Tumbledown).
