Weight of the World is a 2002 album by the Canadian hard rock band Harem Scarem. The mainstay of this album are the HUGE harmony vocals similar to Hysteria era Def Leppard or even the lesser known 80's band, Blue Tears, but with more of a punch.

Mood Swings is a 1993 album by the Canadian hard rock band Harem Scarem. A music video was shot for the song "No Justice". The album charted at #85 on the Canadian charts. All in all, a very interesting and pleasing album. An uplifting effort that the band struggled to match in their future efforts. Definitely worth a listen.

It was produced, engineered, & mixed by Harry Hess of Harem Scarem. Backing vocals were done by Harry Hess of Harem Scarem. Half the songs were written by Harry Hess of Harem Scarem. Guitars were handled by Pete Lesperance of Harem Scarem. So who does DOCTOR ROCK & THE WILD BUNCH sound like? You guessed it, they sound an awful lot like Harem Scarem. So if you're looking for some high-quality melodic hard rock with lots of hooks & harmonies, then this CD will more than fit the bill.

Fiore's debut "Today Till Tomorrow", which was released January 1998, was/is a good record, but definitely nowhere near the qualities of this new release "Body Electric" (MTM Music) / ’’All I Feel’’ (Japan CD), officially released December 14th 1998. As then Harem Scarem vocalist Harry Hess, with additional help from Scarem's guitarist Pete Lesperance also produces this new one. On "Today Till Tomorrow" Jon's voice never came to its right as it seemed to drown in Harry Hess' production, but that has been adjusted now and his voice comes out clear in the mix. The production has also been updated, and reminds a bit of recent Harem Scarem productions. More naked and a really alive feeling.
Harem Scarem have a unique defining sound, yet seem to side step it with each album release. Each record has it's own style and the band have managed to record four studio album's without repeating themselves once while still integrating their key sounds - vocals, harmonies and the guitar sounds. And once again the band have moved a little off center into new territory again. On their debut, Harem Scarem instantly put themselves on the map with a pure Canadian burst of melodic power AOR. With Mood Swings, the band took on the harder edge guitars and big vocals. With Voice Of Reason, it was a tough uncompromising modern record that held their great melodies, but a more complex song structure.
Harem Scarem's 14th studio album, United, will be released on May 12th. The new recording offers up 11 tracks of trademark Harem Scarem music from Harry Hess (lead vocals, keyboards), Pete Lesperance (guitars, bass, keyboards), long-time drummer Creighton Doane, and backing vocals from original sticksman Darren Smith (who will be playing live drums for the band on tour dates). The band is back and stronger than ever.
