Grancia integrates traditional orchestral instruments including violin, viola, cello, harp, and woodwinds with a jazz/rock rhythm section and ethnic percussion.The music has been described as: elegant, sensual, cinematic, visual, richly arranged, multilayered and complex but very accessible. It incorporates formal structures but has lots of room for improvising and solos. The Grancia band includes 13 players from different musical disciplines - an unconventional, top shelf ensemble. Grancia was recorded with the whole band live in the studio, with no click track, no samples, and with overdubs kept to a minimum.

Cyrano is an upcoming American-British musical drama film directed by Joe Wright and written by Erica Schmidt, based on Schmidt's 2018 stage musical of the same name, itself based on the 1897 Edmond Rostand play Cyrano de Bergerac. The film stars Peter Dinklage, Haley Bennett, Ben Mendelsohn, Brian Tyree Henry and Kelvin Harrison Jr. The score is written by brothers Bryce and Aaron Dessner from The National with all songs written by Bryce, Aaron, Matt Berninger and Carin Besser. Features cast vocals including lead actor Peter Dinklage, with piano by Víkingur Ólafsson – including a solo piano track.

“Rememory” was written by Michael Vukadinovich and Mark Palansky and produced by Daniel Bekerman and Lee Clay. The film explores the unexplained death of Gordon Dunn (Martin Donovan), a visionary scientific pioneer whose body is found shortly after the unveiling of his newest work: a device able to extract, record and play a person’s memories. Gordon’s wife, Carolyn (Julia Ormond – Mad Men, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Legends of the Fall), retreats into her house and cuts off contact with the outside world when a mysterious man (Peter Dinklage – Game of Thrones, X-Men: Days of Future Past, The Station Agent) shows up. After stealing the machine, he uses it to try and solve the mystery, beginning an investigation of memories that lead him to unexpected and dangerous places. The score was written by Gregory Tripi and I remember I was blown away by his “Dark places” score a couple of years ago.

After the human race has been wiped out, Del lives in an empty town, content in his solitude and the utopia he has methodically created for himself, until he meets young Grace, who wants to stay with him.

Wicked: The Soundtrack is the soundtrack album to the 2024 epic musical fantasy film Wicked by Jon M. Chu, the first of the two-part film adaptation of the stage musical of the same name by Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman.
