"If the voice don't say it, the guitar will play it," raps Saffron on "Pork-U-Pine," the third track on Jeff Beck's minimally titled Jeff. And he does. Beck teams with producer Andy Wright, the man responsible for his more complete immersion into electronic backdrops on his last outing, You Had It Coming. This time the transition is complete. Beck used electronica first on Who Else!, moved a little more into the fire on You Had It Coming, and here merges his full-on Beck-Ola guitar heaviness with the sounds of contemporary spazz-out big beats and noise. Beck and Wright employ Apollo 440 on "Grease Monkey" and "Hot Rod Honeymoon," and use a number of vocalists, including the wondrously gifted Nancy Sorrell, on a host of tracks, as well as the London Session Orchestra on others…
We all get excited anytime a new film by Quentin Tarantino comes out, and with every new film, he keeps topping himself with a more epic soundtrack. Well he's did it again! and with a very unique selection of music. If you're lucky enough to have the complete soundtrack to Inglourious Basterds (like me) than you will especially love this killer soundtrack. There is a few problems I have with the soundtrack they're selling here (not the music used in the movie) but I will share that with you on the last part of my review….Ethan Smith – Amazon
Adrenicide is definately one of,and arguably, the premier Crossover band in Britain. Formed in Jan.2003,the core of the band has always comprised: Nuno Evaristo-(most instruments/vocals)and Neilson Armstrong-(vocals/bass) two old school fuck-heads, on a mission to make pure 80's Hardcore/Crossover. Adrenicide is the bastard son of this union.
With absolutely no consideration for modern trends,Adrenicide first unleashed their own savage brand of kick-ass Crossover in Jan.2003.With heads full of dumb-ass riffs, they wasted no time in writing & recording the raw as fuck "Impropaganda"-the first elbow-to-the-face of the Nu-Metal shit that seems to prevail then. More a collection of demo's than a fully-fledged album, "Impropaganda"is an uncompromising reaction to the sugar-coated shit that masquerades as modern Metal. Brutal & primitive?certaintly, but it has the key ingredient missing today-memorable songs that you can fuckin' Mosh and form a circle to.
drenicide continue to be one of the only true Old School bands in the country. To them, it’s about the songs, the lyrics, the image; the whole deal, not just borrowing your older brother’s “Exodus” or “Testament” albums and forming a tribute act. You know this band will still be standing once the band wagon jumping copy-cats have long since folded. Remember the true spirit of the 80’s crossover scene-lets stick together and make the scene work this time. Thrashers, Punks, Moshers and Crossover freaks-Unite and let’s all shout the same fuckin’ thing: “THRASH ISN’T BACK: TO THE TRUE, IT NEVER FUCKIN’ WENT AWAY!.”
