After the release of Cruisin LAVA toured Norway and Scandinavia. what seemed to be constantly. No other band was able to threaten Lava's position as the # 1 Live act in Norway. By adding lead singer Egil Eldøen to the band, Lava took themeselves to a completely new level both musically and live. And this incarnation of the band lasted for many years to come. By doing this, little did they know what was about to come. Prime Time was the album that caught the ears of Randy Crawford and Randy felt Lava was the perfect choice for her upcoming Scandinavian tour.
