Senga et sa fille Nat ont une longue route devant elles. En voyageant de nuit, elles rencontrent une série de personnages étranges : un couple en vacances qui photographie des accidents de voiture, un bébé qui marche à quatre pattes au milieu de la route, et un homme qui voyage dans la nuit, en attendant que des accidents se produisent. Pendant un arrêt, Nat fait la connaissance d'une mystérieuse auto-stoppeuse et disparaît. Senga se lace à sa recherche et découvre que sa fille est prisonnière d'une secte satanique. La descente aux enfers commence.

An intelligent pulse of electricity is moving from house to house. It terrorizes the occupants by taking control of the appliances, either killing them or causing them to wreck the house in an effort to destroy it. Then it travels along the power lines to the next house, and the terror restarts. Having thus wrecked one household in a quiet neighbourhood, the pulse finds itself in the home of a boy's divorced father whom he is visiting. It gradually takes control of everything, badly injures the stepmother, and traps father and son, who must fight their way out.

Spanning five continents and running 26 episodes in length, "Water Life" is the latest nature series to bring viewers a first hand look at the beauty that's evident in the world around us. The footage on display throughout the series was captured over a 16-month period by three separate teams consisting of the world's top nature cinematographers, naturalists, and divers, who's goal was to capture various aquatic ecosystems using innovative camera techniques to create a fascinating perspective. After filming ended, the 100+ hours of footage was edited into a thirteen hour runtime and divided up to meet the individual theme of each episode.

The world has been reshaped by the invasion of ghosts via the wireless internet. Cities are deserted, technology has been destroyed and the few remaining human beings eschew anything electrical in order to avoid a confrontation with the soulless ghosts that now wander the planet. Most of the ghosts are doomed to a repetitive loop of something they did while they were still despairing humans (a man repeatedly hangs himself, for example), but there are some ghosts so locked in denial, they do not know they are dead. They continue to haunt their homes, wrapped in fear that their souls will soon be torn from them.
