Reign Ghost (1969). Reign Ghost was a late '60s rock group from Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. The member lineup was a changeable one, consisting at one time or another of singer Lynda Squires, guitarists Bob Bryden and Jim Stright, keyboardist Dave Hair, bassists Jerry Dufek, Russ Erman, and Joe Gallant, and drummers Helge "Rich" Richter and Bob Stright. In 1968, the band signed with the Allied Records label. The result was a self-titled album released in January of the next year.
Even though they were still children (Bob and Lynda were both 17 when the sessions happened), they managed to tap into the universal psych font. And while there is some occasional clunkiness, it really sorta adds to the record's charm…

Kindo (The Reign Of Kindo) has has become prolific in recent days; writing and producing a brand new song every month since late 2016. Happy However After is Kindo's 4th full-length studio album, featuring 10 new tracks that embody the band's further exploration into their ever changing musical landscape.

The album is a reflection of dedication as the initial idea spawned 30 years ago and ended in 2020 with the album now being released in 2021. States drummer Jeff Plate, “Beginning in a rehearsal room in Rockland, Ma. 30 years ago and ending in this insane year of 2020, "Mother’s Day" is the end result of years of writing, listening, learning, planning and waiting for the right moment to put this all together. Everyone involved has been the perfect combination of effort and talent to complete the ideas and songs that have been kicking around in my head for years. The foundation of the songs here seems to be indie-rock not too unlike from what Manic Street Preachers made in the mid to late nineties; with melodic guitar hooks and generally strong melodic sensibilities throughout. Highly skilled, controlled and melodic vocals underline the pop sensibilities in the music; and strong choruses with a high singalong feel to them further enhances this…
