Robert ‘Dubwise’ Browne has spent the greater part of the past two decades building up a name for himself among Jamaica’s burgeoning music and recording industries, and has indeed cemented a prime position as the go-to guitarist for a slew of notable projects. Such acts include the likes of world famous Jazz pianist Monty Alexander, and the sons of the late reggae icon Bob Marley – Damian Jnr Gong Marley and Julian Marley. His talents have taken him across the globe, performing for Grammy-winning artists Shaggy and other high profile, chart-topping artists such as Diana King, Joe, Heather Headley, Maxi Priest, Sly & Robbie, Dennis Brown, and Tessanne Chin (Season 5 Winner Of NBC’s ‘The Voice’) to name a few.

One of the first vocalists to enter the Jamaican music business, Alton Ellis was generally revered as the greatest and most soulful singer the country ever produced – that is, until Bob Marley came along. Ellis had his first hit during the ska craze, but made his true lasting mark as the definitive solo singer of the rocksteady era. Sweet, smooth, and deeply emotive, Ellis was equally at home on Jamaican originals or reggae-fied covers of American R&B hits. He cut a series of ska singles for Clement "Coxsone" Dodd's Studio One label, but reached his prime during the mid- to late '60s, when he recorded some of rocksteady's signature tunes for Duke Reid's Treasure Isle imprint.

Supermax was a project of Austrian musician and producer, Kurt Hauenstein, best known for "Lovemachine", a 1977 German #4 single, that peaked at #6 in Switzerland, #9 in Austria and #96 in US. The first members of the band were Kurt Hauenstein (Mini Moog, vocals), Hans Ochs (guitar), Ken Taylor (bass guitar), Lothar Krell (keyboards), Peter Koch (percussion), Jürgen Zöller (drums) and the singers Cee Cee Cobb and Jean Graham. After Ken Taylor left the band in 1979, Kurt Hauenstein returned to his origin music instrument, the bass guitar. Later, Bernadet Onore Eben and Jessica Hauenstein, the daughter of Kurt Hauenstein, joined the group as backing vocal singers.
