In 17th century Paris, a dashing swordsman named D'Artagnan finds himself at odds with the powerful forces taking over France. He sets out from the village of Gascogne on a dual mission: to join the King's elite guard of Musketeers and to search for the man who murdered his parents fourteen years earlier. In addition to the expected thieves and cut-throats on the road to Paris, he meets formidable enemies in the capital, including the conniving Cardinal Richelieu and his army of enforcers. The young swordsman searches Paris for Athos, Porthos and Aramis, the famed musketeers at the heart of the King's guard. However, he finds only bitter and disheveled men, for the guard has been disbanded and their captain framed for a murder actually planned by Richelieu. D'Artagnan finds an ally in feisty chambermaid Francesca, who is determined to save her mistress the Queen. Together they vow to save France from the evil Richelieu, and to regain the honor of the Musketeers.

Depuis l'assassinat de ses parents par le machiavélique Fèbre quand il n'était qu'un enfant, d'Artagnan n'a qu'une obsession : se venger. A Paris, le cardinal de Richelieu profite de son influence sur le roi pour s'emparer progressivement du pouvoir avec l'appui de Fèbre, devenu son homme de main. Avec l'aide d'Athos, de Porthos et d'Aramis, l'intrépide d'Artagnan s'engage dans une lutte sans merci pour sauver la couronne de France et assouvir sa vengeance.

The Iron Mask (1929)
King Louis XIII of France is thrilled to have born to him a son - an heir to the throne. But when the queen delivers a twin, Cardinal Richelieu sees the second son as a potential for revolution, and has him sent off to Spain to be raised in secret to ensure a peaceful future for France. Alas, keeping the secret means sending Constance, lover of D'Artagnan, off to a convent. D'Artagnan hears of this and rallies the Musketeers in a bid to rescue her. Unfortunately, Richelieu out-smarts the Musketeers and banishes them forever.

The Three Musketeers (1973)
The young D'Artagnan arrives in Paris with dreams of becoming a King's musketeer. He meets and quarrels with three men, Athos, Porthos, and Aramis, each of whom challenges him to a duel. D'Artagnan finds out they are musketeers and is invited to join them in their efforts to oppose Cardinal Richelieu, who wishes to increase his already considerable power over the King. D'Artagnan must also juggle affairs with the charming Constance Bonancieux and the passionate Lady De Winter, a secret agent for the Cardinal.

Once in Paris, he tries by all means to find his attackers, unaware that his quest will lead him to the very heart of a war where the future of France is at stake. Aided by King's Musketeers Athos, Porthos and Aramis, he faces the machinations of villainous Cardinal Richelieu and Milady de Winter, while falling in love with Constance, the Queen's confidante.
