Bridge of Sighs is the second solo album by the English guitarist and songwriter Robin Trower. It was released in 1974. Bridge of Sighs, his second album after leaving Procol Harum, was a breakthrough album for Trower. Songs from this album, such as "Bridge of Sighs", "Too Rolling Stoned", "Day of the Eagle" and "Little Bit of Sympathy", have become live concert staples for Trower. The album was produced by organist Matthew Fisher, formerly Trower's bandmate in Procol Harum. Acclaimed Beatles engineer Geoff Emerick was this album's sound engineer. Bridge of Sighs reached #7 in the United States during a chart stay of 31 weeks. It was certified Gold on 10 September 1974.

Added to this, there are a selection of previously unreleased outtakes and alternative versions and a full live concert from the Record Plant in 1974 across 2 CDs. The Blu-ray contains the full 2024 Unedited Atmos version of the album, hi-res 96/24 version of the original 1974 mix, an instrumental version of the album, Record Plant 1974 and additional outtakes not featured on the CDs. Ex-Procol Harum guitarist Robin Trower was already well established as a solo artist by 1980, with 7 albums already out and one currently in active promotion. He was also a regular act on the UK college circuit throughout the 1970s. The London University gig captures the extraordinary skills of this now revered guitar legend at his peak.
Rock Goes To College was a BBC series that first ran between 1978 and 1981 on British television. Upcoming rock bands were showcased, and it was broadcast ‘live’ from small venues at University, Polytechnic and College halls, where tickets were often given free to students, ensuring a full capacity attendance and lively atmosphere.
