Roland Cloud presents SRX DANCE TRAX, created in the spirit of Roland's seminal hardware board with reimagined versatility. In the early 2000s, Roland’s SRX series of expansion boards were an innovative way of adding fresh flavors to your synth. Installed directly into Roland hardware, each board created a tiny genre-centric world of its own.

Throughout the 1990s, Roland digital synthesizers based on PCM sampled waveforms formed the basis of music as diverse as R&B, pop, hip-hop, new wave and film scores. Some of these sounds, originally meant to mimic acoustic instruments, became so iconic themselves that they’ve become a permanent part of the collective musical sound palette. Some say it’s the most recorded sound module in history, and lately artists have been utilizing these sounds again, in new and modern ways.

Roland Cloud Concerto is the sample playback and RAINLINK based recording engine that powers the Tera, FLAVR and Anthology series of Roland Cloud virtual instruments. Although Concerto alone does not an instrument make, it is the underlying engine that powers many current Roland Cloud instruments and will be the host to many forthcoming Roland Cloud technologies.
