Royal Christmas

A Christmas Fantasia is a collection of carols and fantasias written (mainly) by Ralph Vaughan Williams and his friends and former students. The exception is a new carol composed by the album's director, William Vann, setting a poem by Ivor Gurney.

RCA Records and Legacy Recordings, the catalogue division of Sony Music Entertainment, celebrate the 2017 holiday season with the release of "Elvis Presley: Christmas With Elvis And The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra". The album brings together Elvis Presley's best-loved performances from 'Elvis' Christmas Album' (1957) and 'Elvis Sings The Wonderful World Of Christmas' (1971) re-imagined with sublime and exquisite new arrangements performed by The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. This Deluxe Edition features four bonus tracks (The Peace In The Valley EP).

Above the album worked the 'Royal Philharmonic Orchestra - A Royal Philharmonic Christmas', and his release took place on 2020. The album has got songs with a total duration of more than an hour. A compilation is a compilation of original music.

Among England's famed university choirs, the King's College Choir of Cambridge has both one of the deepest histories and some of the most visible present-day activities. Its annual broadcasts of the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols, begun in 1918, have been an integral part of Christmas celebrations in many countries. The Choir of King's College was founded in 1441 by England's King Henry VI as the resident ensemble of King's College Chapel, a status it continues to hold today. The choir shrank during some of the tumultuous events of the 15th through the 17th centuries but continued to operate.

The Choir of HM Chapel Royal, Hampton Court Palace build on the tradition established by its historic forebears of cradling new church music, with a programme of music for Advent, Christmas and the Epiphany featuring seven premiere recordings alongside new interpretations of more established repertory that has become embedded in the musical heritage at the Palace.
