"Close to Seven" is the 5th studio album by German singer Sandra, released in 1992. The album's title symbolized the upcoming seventh anniversary of Sandra's career. It was produced almost completely by Michael Cretu and continued a development towards a more meditative, less dance-oriented musical style, echoing material that Sandra and Michael recorded together for the Enigma project. The male vocals were sung by Andy Jonas, also known as Andy "Angel" Hart. "Close to Seven" was a commercial success and remains Sandra's second highest-charting album in Germany.

Mirrors is the second studio album from German singer Sandra, released in 1986. The album was produced by Michael Cretu and Armand Volker. It reached #16 in Germany, #14 in Norway, #40 in Sweden and #13 in Switzerland. Producer Michael Cretu used more of the writing and singing talents of Hubert Kemmler (who was already a popular singer in Germany under the name of Hubert Kah). The song "Don't Cry (The Breakup of the World)" was written in reaction to the Chernobyl disaster in 1986. The second album continued the same success all over Europe as the first one had previously done.

"The Art of Love" is the 8th studio album by German singer Sandra released in 2007 by Virgin Records. "The Art of Love" is Sandra's first album not to be produced by her then-partner, Michael Cretu, who at that time was unavailable due to working on the new Enigma album, A Posteriori. It was also her last album released before their separation in late 2007. Instead, the material was produced by Jens Gad, Cretu's "right hand man". This change made Sandra actively participate in writing songs for the first time in her career. She contributed very personal lyrics, revisiting sad experiences from her childhood. The album also includes three cover versions: "Put Your Arms Around Me" originally recorded by Sinéad O'Connor, "All You Zombies" by The Hooters, and "Casino Royale", previously recorded by Edyta Górniak as "Sleep with Me" and Conjure One as "Sleep". "Love Is the Price" features DJ BoBo and is their second collaboration, after the 2006 hit "Secrets of Love".
