Under the Radar is proud to announce Covers of Covers, which is the magazine’s first ever album. In honor of our 20th anniversary we approached some of our favorite musicians and asked them to cover any song by any artist who had been on the front or back cover of our print issue over the years.

Following Momma's beloved 2020 LP Two of Me, which introduced the world to the symbiotic writing style and profound creative intuition of founders Etta Friedman and Allegra Weingarten, the band's third studio album Household Name reveals an exciting new chapter marked by both personal and artistic growth. Mastered by Grammy-winning engineer Emily Lazar, the album is a tightly-stitched collection that is magnetic and dynamic, and also marks their debut for Polyvinyl Record Co./Lucky Number-who signed Momma in the midst of the pandemic.

Quincy Delight Jones Jr.’s achievements as a multi Grammy- and Oscar-winning record producer, musician, songwriter, composer, arranger, as well as a film and television producer are the stuff of legends. His incredible career, which spans 70 years in the entertainment industry, began in the 1950s – when the young man from the South Side of Chicago started out as a Jazz trumpeter, soon becoming a popular arranger and successful band leader.

Thisness is Miles Okazaki's third volume of compositions for Trickster, a quartet featuring Matt Mitchell on piano, Anthony Tidd on bass, and Sean Rickman on drums. The album is a set of themes that are shuffled and connected in different ways to make four large movements.
