KADA is an incredibly realistic percussion library of Batucada and Samba instruments with an easy-to-use Kontakt interface.
There are over 1150 48KHz 24bit samples included with the library. Every sample has been carefully crafted to maintain the life and realism of each instrument.

In our efforts to push the limit of ensemble percussion sampling, we have traveled to Latin America to sample an outstanding Batucada ensemble. 'Legion Series 33 Drummers' is not only composed of a massive ensemble of 33 drummers playing in unison.

With this instrument we start a series of inexpensive and high-quality instruments for sampler Kontakt 6. For recording we used Takamine Guitars, high quality microphones and piezo pickup system. Mics and piezo levels are controllable after the fact to give maximum sonic flexibility. Sketch Nylon comes with a MIDI Pack. Midi Pack includes 5 styles with variations (Samba, Bossa Nova, Baiao, Choro, Frevo), a total of 41 types of accompaniment (Drums not included). 4 types of guitar chords (Maj, Min, 7, mb5) in each style. 1968 chords in total.

Two string instruments that form the basis for Portuguese and Latin American music, the fado guitar and cavaquinho especially are also featured in styles across the world. They form a beautiful and compelling pair for the ORIGINS VOL. 8 traditional strings plugin. The cheerful strums of the cavaquinho make for the perfect bed upon which lie the soulful melodies of the fado guitar.

The berimbau consists of an arched rod made of wood or polyester with an approximate length of 1.50 – 1.70 meters and a steel wire attached to the ends of the pole.

Over a year of development and more than 10000 samples, the library brings a jazz drum kit played by the prominent Brazilian drummer Gabriel Bruce. The instrument features a Ludwig Legacy Maple kit recorded with drumsticks and brushes, preamps of high caliber with extensive variation of dynamics in each piece.
