This is not another kalimba VST instrument. It’s something much more than this! Having sampled a 9 tine kalimba with 7 different tunings we were able to capture a two octaves range with a warm, sweet and rich sound!

We feel this is a beautiful addition to our orchestral libraries as it allows you to add a percussive element, as well as enhanced definition to fast runs in other sections of the orchestra. These instruments will add a shine to your full orchestral arrangements, but they will come in equally handy in small group composition, where they will easily carry their own weight… Marimba and bass clarinet anyone?

Scoring Piano is a Steinway Model B piano, sampled in a great studio near Florence, Tuscany. This instrument will find a perfect spot for any kind of soundtrack and, like My Piano, for jazz and classical music. We have tried to take the softest dynamics particularly into account.

The Model 7 grand piano was sampled from a Yamaha C7 grand coda piano. Our first idea was to sample a CFIII, but when we went to the rental-house we totally fell in love with this one and chose it. This particular piano has been in constant use since the '80s in two highly praised concert halls in Torino (Italy) and has been played by artists like Michel Petrucciani and Chick Corea along the years. This piano is under constant maintenance by highly-skilled italian technicians. We sampled this little-big monster of a piano in a medium-size hall surrounded by a smorgasbord of microphones.

Trio Broz: Solo Cello is a dynamic Cello inspired by the honest and compact Trio Broz sound. With its spontaneous dynamic heightened voice, supported by the powerful DCE, Trio Broz: Solo Cello is perfect for emotional and sensitive phrasing as well as energetic lines on a higher register.

We sampled a string trio of talented Italian musicians, Barbara (violin), Giada (viola) and Klaus (cello), at the amazing Teatro delle Voci in Treviso. The Viola features up to 3.5 octaves, 3 dynamic layers for sustained articulations, true legato, 4 Round Robins for short articulations like Spiccato, Staccato and Pizzicato. We provide you the ability to create your unique sound by mixing the 3 microphones positions (Close, Mid and Far). The sampling was made with top quality gear: Schoeps and AudioTechnica microphones, Neve and Millennia Media preamps.

The Model D grand piano was sampled from a Hamburg-made 1939 Steinway D274 grand coda piano. This particular piano has been in use in various venues in Italy and has been played and praised by many top-level international classical and jazz players.

Stefania Maratti - Solo Flute is the first instrument from the Fluffy Audio Woodwinds series. Stefania Marrati is a renowned flutist who has developed a lovely sound over the year. She plays a rare and precious pink-gold flute, with an amazing timbre which can fit both orchestral and solo music.

We’ve sampled a handful of top woodwind players at the Teatro delle Voci in Treviso. This is the second volume of our woodwind series: the lovely sound of John Diamanti Fox’s Clarinet. John plays his instrument with lot of passion and he currently works with some of the most important orchestras in Italy and Europe. He plays both in chamber and orchestral music and he occasionally works for local composers and songwriters.
