Scotty Moore

Winfield Scott "Scotty" Moore III (December 27, 1931 – June 28, 2016) was an American guitarist and recording engineer who formed The Blue Moon Boys in 1954, Elvis Presley's backing band. He was studio and touring guitarist for Presley between 1954 and 1968.

Filmed at the famous Abbey Road studios in London, this tribute to Elvis was lovingly curated by his former guitar player, Scotty Moore. Scotty Moore & Friends: A Tribute to the King - Live at Abbey Road Studios movie Over the course of 26 Elvis covers, stars such as Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, and Dave Gilmour join Moore for the historic event.

Few artists can claim to have been as close a witness to the birth of rock and roll as guitarist Scotty More, and with this concert the Tupelo, Mississippi native who stepped into the Memphis Recording Service with Elvis Aaron Presley to record "That's All Right" is joined by a series of special guests including Mark Knopfler, Eric Clapton, and Paul Ansell in performing twenty-eight of The King's best-loved hits. Songs include "Jailhouse Rock", "Blue Moon", "All Shook Up", and "Blue Suede Shoes", and other special guests include Dave Gilmour, Steve Gibbons, Albert Lee, Martin Taylor, and Mike Sanchez.
