Shame Drunk

Debuting in 2018 as the UK's new angry young men, Shame was at once a breath of fresh air and a kick in the teeth: an awesome guitar band that didn't care a whit about the winking irony of Britpop and railed against Brexit, Teresa May, selling out and more. The group's second outing, 2021's Drunk Tank Pink, was incredibly ambitious—and, at times, overly complicated.

There are a large number of blues albums floating around. It is a great collection of tunes and a value purchase. Outstanding group of musicians and totally enjoyed the music, blues and recommend this to anyone enjoying the blues and wanting the best of musicians.

Between 1995 and 1997, Edsel released eight full-length CDs of Marc Bolan's previously unreleased demos, alternate takes, unused and abandoned songs and unfinished recordings. These CDs were deleted in 2001. Since then, copies of the rare original individual releases have changed hands for foolish amounts of money and sellers on Ebay have offered to pirate the entire set! Edsel is now proud to announce the re-issue of all 8 CDs in a limited edition bound book set, with extensive brand new annotation by Mojo writer Mark Paytress, author of the acknowledged definitive Bolan biography “Bolan: The Rise and Fall of a 20th Century Sperstar”.

Lauren Mayberry, the frontwoman for acclaimed electro-pop band Chvrches, releases her eagerly awaited debut solo album, Vicious Creature, on EMI Records. Including key singles, “Something in the Air”, “Crocodile Tears”, “Shame”, “Change Shapes” and “Are You Awake?”.

This has been true since their debut offering, Goodbye, Babylon, that showcased Southern sacred song and oratory. Baby, How Can It Be? Songs of Love Lust and Contempt from the 1920s and 1930s (the label's 16th release), follows suit. Assembled from the 78 collection of John Heneghan, this three-disc, 66-track set looks at its title subjects from all sides. It travels disc by disc from the first flush and ardor of romance, through the heat and passion of eros, to the tales of terror, depression, and violence that occur when the flower of belladonna replaces the rose's bloom.
