Emerging in the mid-'90s, Shania Twain became the most popular country music artist since Garth Brooks. Skillfully fusing mainstream, AOR rock production with country-pop, Twain and her producer/husband, Robert John "Mutt" Lange, created a commercial juggernaut with her second album, The Woman in Me. The record became a multi-platinum phenomenon, peaking at number five on the pop charts and eventually selling over nine million copies in America alone.
Now is the upcoming fifth studio album by Canadian singer and songwriter Shania Twain, scheduled for release on September 29, 2017. It is Twain's first new studio album in 15 years, since her 2002 release, Up!. The album's lead single, "Life's About to Get Good", was released on June 15, 2017.

Certainly she racked up her share of hits – which are chronicled without fault on this collection. But more than that, she was a singer who weathered the Nash Vegas storms with grace, took control of her own career, and became producer of her own recordings.
