Although the Move made barely a ripple in the U.S., they actually did a short tour in fall 1969, marking their only visit to the States. This double CD has live recordings made from their performances at the Fillmore in San Francisco on October 17 and 18 of 1969, most of them coming from the earlier of the two dates. Apparently its appearance was delayed for quite some time owing to concerns about its fidelity, but with the help of "advances in studio technology" trumpeted in the liner notes, it's finally been prepared in a shape deemed acceptable for release. Thank goodness it's passed muster, because the fidelity is more than acceptable, and it's a quite historically interesting document.

Entrails formed in 1990/91. Their goal was to follow the scene that Stockholm brought to light around the time with bands like Dismember, Entombed, Grave and many more that cemented the brilliant Swedish death metal sound from T. Skogsberg's Sunlight studio. Unfortunately, all attempts to record a demo at the time did not produce satisfactory results.

Ism opens audaciously with the spiritual mic-check “You Are Free To Choose,” a track that features Junius Paul alongside Vincent Davis (drums), Justin Dillard (piano), and Corey Wilkes (horns). This is by no accident. In many ways, “You Are Free To Choose” captures the spirit of Junius Paul’s artistic roots. Corey, Justin, and Vincent were among the multigenerational cadre of Chicago musicians present when Junius chose to follow his own path of creative discovery at the storied Velvet Lounge on the South Side of the city back in October of 2002.

In his 2016 autobiography, “Born To Run”, Bruce Springsteen reveals the essence of his songwriting: “Most of my writing is emotionally autobiographical. I’ve learned you’ve got to pull up the things that mean something to you in order for them to mean anything to your audience. That’s where the proof is. That’s how they know you’re not kidding.”

Legendary Guitarist’s Final Album Features A Different Guitarist And Vocalist On Every Track, With Performances By Joe Bonamassa, Phil Collen, Rick Derringer, Sammy Hagar, Glenn Hughes, Brad Whitford, Edgar Winter, And More. Before his untimely death in 2012, renowned American rock guitarist Ronnie Montrose began recording an ambitious passion project with bassist Ricky Phillips (Styx, Bad English) and drummer Eric Singer (Kiss, Alice Cooper). The idea was to record 10 songs with 10 different singers and call the album 10X10. Sadly, Montrose was unable to see the album through during his lifetime. Instead, Phillips made it his mission to finish the songs by enlisting a small army of Ronnie’s musician friends to record the vocals and the guitar solos for each song, completing the album in recent years.
