Q-Dance Compilations is the record label of Dutch party organisation Q-Dance. They focus on the harder styles of dance music, such as hardstyle, hardcore, techno and hard trance. Defqon.1, the world's biggest hardstyle festival in the neighboring Netherlands, is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a compilation edition extended to 5 CDs! The weekend June 2017 in the Netherlands Biddinghuizen, is in the sign of the Defqon.1 anniversary. The event and its compilation increased its popularity from year to year and is today one of the largest of the hardstyle genres. On the occasion of the release, the CD package will be more comprehensive than ever before.

Dubbed by Arturo Toscanini "the greatest voice of the 20th century," Mario Lanza was one of America's most successful singers and movie stars in the years immediately following World War II. Born Alfredo Arnold Cocozza on January 31, 1921 in Philadelphia, he was the son of Italian immigrants, adopting his stage name from the masculine form of his mother's maiden name, Maria Lanza. From the age of 15, he studied to be a professional vocalist, later signing to Columbia as a concert singer; however, his career took a left turn in 1943, when he was drafted into the U.S. Army. Billed as "the Service Caruso," Lanza performed for his fellow infantrymen and also sang in the production of Winged Victory; upon his return from duty, he relocated to New York, where he performed concert dates and appeared on radio.

Artension is no stranger to the world of progressive music. This band's roots date back to 1993 when keyboard wizard Vitalij Kuprij met guitarist Roger Staffelbach and, at the advice of Mike Varney (Shrapnel Records) teamed up with vocalist John West (currently with Royal Hunt). Along with Kevin Chown, bass, and the infamous Mike Terrana, drums, they recorded and released the first 2 Artension albums. Both Kevin Chown and Mike Terrana were unavailable for the next 2 albums, but have returned to the band to record and release this one, Sacred Pathways, their 5th album.
