2012 release, the fifth album from the British Hard Rock band fronted by vocalist Skin. Black Traffic, the band's follow-up to the critically acclaimed 2010 album Wonderlustre, was recorded in London and co-produced by Chris Sheldon (Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro, Pixies) and mixed by Jeremy Wheatley and Adrian Bushby. "We've wanted to be charge of our own destiny for many years, the doom & gloom merchants may whine about the music industry but we've seen it as a positive chance to re-invent how we work and take more control over our art form. With our new album Black Traffic and new label we are really excited with the future of skunk, this is my personal favorite as an album, even better than Wonderlustre which spawned some great songs. The partnership of veteran U.S. soul singer Billy Price and French blues guitarist Fred Chapellier might seem like an unlikely pairing, but the results – chronicled in the song "Champagne Blues and Pittsburgh Soul" – are an impressive, occasionally explosive meeting of the minds. Price with his strong tenor voice, similar to Robert Cray's at times, first found popular acclaim as Roy Buchanan's singer for a short while back in the mid-‘70s. While guitarist Chapellier isn't in Buchanan's league, his deft touch and alternately snaking/scorching leads fit well with this set of predominantly original R&B.

The Brecker Brothers, Michael and Randy, were one of the most successful of the jazz/fusion groups that arose in the 1970s, recording six bestselling albums for Arista between 1975 and 1981. For their acclaimed debut, the siblings recruited all-star players including David Sanborn, Chris Parker, Harvey Mason, Sr., Bob Mann, Ralph MacDonald, Don Grolnick and Will Lee. Integrating their taste for jazz, fusion, R&B, funk and pop, the recording features their hit single, “Sneakin' Up Behind You” and the emblematic “Skunk Funk”.
