A brilliant set of live Snarky Puppy, in all their tightly grooving, though boundlessly creative jazzy soul glory – and it's as great as anything we've heard or seen from them to date! It's amazing stuff, bringing in even more diverse influences than before, including some kinda proggy funk, which suits the group and the live setting very well. This is the 10th anniversary edition of the monumental album that Snarky Puppy recorded in 2013 in a live studio format with an audience. It includes alternate takes of each song as well as the first recorded version of "Gretel," making it a must-have for fans.

Snarky Puppy are an American instrumental fusion band, known for the diversity and eclecticism of their instrumental approach. They were formed in Denton, Texas in 2004.

From the moment Snarky Puppy played its first overseas show to a sold-out London crowd, they felt at home in Europe. Recorded and filmed live with a studio audience over 4 nights in the Netherlands, 'We Like It Here' captures the band at its most explorative point in its career, in both composition and improvisation. The film also contains over an hour of interviews, behind the scenes tour footage in Europe, and alternate solo takes from the recording sessions.

While the vinyl resurgence continues unabated, sales of Rodrigo y Gabriela on compact disc continue to be strong. Indeed, the recent release of their Jazz EP on limited edition vinyl (now sold out) prompted many Rod and Gab fans to ask their record label: "can I get this on CD?" This release brings together the shredded heat of their fiery heavy rock tribute - the Mettal EP - which includes blistering attacks on tracks by Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer and the aforementioned Jazz EP, which features stunning, cinematica reworkings of songs by Kamasi Washington, Snarky Puppy and Astor Piazzolla.
