From the pipe organ at the Sono Luminus studio in Boyce, Virginia, we are pleased to present a fine selection of baroque organ music for the Christmas season. Felipe Dominguez (b. 1983) is a Chilean/American organist, harpsichordist, clavichordist and musicologist. A graduate of Brigham Young University (B.M. 2010, M.M. 2012), he studied organ and harpsichord with Douglas Bush and Don Cook. He has pursued further postgraduate organ instruction in Europe with Edoardo Belotti, Hans Davidsson, Harald Vogel, and Leon Berben. Mr. Dominguez has performed as a soloist and in ensembles in Chile, Argentina, the United States and Europe.

Dave Brubeck is one of the most well-known jazz pianists of all time. Mr. Brubeck is also a fluent, developed musician, exploring new avenues in composition and performance including his many choral compositions. Lauded around the world, Mr. Brubeck just received the prestigious Kennedy Center Honor in December 2009. This album, featuring premiere recordings of the Sacred Choral music (less "Sleep Holy Infant, Sleep") of Mr. Brubeck, performed by the GRAMMY nominated group The Pacific Mozart Ensemble for whom some of the pieces were written and Mr. Brubeck has worked closely with. The album also features the Multi-GRAMMY nominated ensemble Quartet San Francisco who most recently has received 2 nominatioins for the 52nd Annual GRAMMY awards.

In his latest release, Nightbreak, acclaimed pianist Bruce Levingston has recorded an album of works that display the light and dark of the human soul. From the dramatic sound-portraits of Franz Liszt’s powerful and moving “Vallée d’Obermann” and Brahms anguished “Edward” Ballade to the world premiere recording of Philip Glass’s brilliant and thrilling “Dracula Suite”, Levingston’s virtuosic and deeply searching performance on this CD captures a panoramic range of colors and emotions.

Sono Luminus proudly presents the first surround sound recording of Zelenka’s five Capriccios. The complex scores have been brought to life under the direction of conductor Daniel Abraham, who also crafted this new edition of the works. This sonic masterpiece of the Baroque is presented using all period instruments including natural horn for the virtuosic horn lines.

Originally released in October 1995, the band’s seventh album, ‘Erasure’ was produced by Thomas Fehlmann of The Orb and Gareth Jones (Depeche Mode, Wire, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds) and mixed by the legendary Francois Kevorkian (Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode) Featuring the singles ‘Stay With Me’, ’Fingers & Thumbs (Cold Summer’s Day)’ and ‘Rock Me Gently’ (featuring Diamanda Galas), the deluxe 2CD will be released in hard back book format with exclusive photos by Herbie Knott and brand new sleeve notes by Electronic Sound’s Mat Smith. CD1 features the original album, whilst CD2 includes 15 tracks including 4 brand new remixes, classic archive mixes, original B-Sides, live recordings, demos and rarities.
