"Best of Soundgarden Redux" is the customary companion album, which is released alongside each full-album cover editions of the Redux Series. Accompanying "Superunknown Redux", another 15 all-time classics and deep cuts from across the rest of the grunge gods' extensive catalogue are delivered by as many exciting acts on "Best of Soundgarden Redux".

This remixed and expanded reissue of Soundgarden’s "Ultramega OK" is a long-planned “correction” of the legendary band’s Grammy-nominated debut full-length. The album was originally recorded and released in 1988 on SST Records. While the band enjoyed working with the original producer, Drew Canulette, they soon realized they weren’t quite happy with the final mix. Thus, shortly after the album’s release, the band decided to remix the album for subsequent pressings. However, success intervened: the band rapidly scored a deal with A&M and began work on their major-label debut, "Louder Than Love", and the "Ultramega OK" remix project fell by the wayside as Soundgarden climbed their way to (ultra)mega-stardom.

The 20th anniversary of "Superunknown" is a global priority and the band is very involved in the reissue celebration. Deluxe anniversary products featured never-before-released bonus material and demos. As far as products, there is something for everyone from the hardcore, super fan to the teen who is just discovering Soundgarden’s music. In 2003, Rolling Stone ranked the album as one of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and the 100 Greatest Albums of the Nineties.

The pressure was on Soundgarden to follow up 1994's breakthrough release "Superunknown" and the band didn't disappoint with "Down On The Upside". Peaking at number two and selling well over a million copies in the US, the self-produced album spawned American rock radio hits "Burden In My Hand", "Blow Up The Outside World" and "Pretty Noose", which also went top 15 in the UK.

Beloved Seattle rock band, Soundgarden, is celebrating the 25th anniversary of their 2x platinum album, "Badmotorfinger", with four special reissues. This Blu-Ray Audio features the newly remastered album with three bonus tracks.
