NOW Music is very proud to present the second of our NOW That's What I Call An Era The Albums releases. Most of the albums being highlighted produced huge hit singles that have become both synonymous with the decade and enduringly popular – but these albums are of such a high quality – forever part of the artist’s legacy - that other tracks could have equally become hits – and some have become as well-loved by fans as the singles, and have for many artists always been an established part of their live shows.

Milk & Sugar Recordings has been founded in April 1997 by Mike K. and Steven Harding aka Milk & Sugar. It was among of the first labels in Germany to release house music only, and it has influenced the global house music scene ever since.

This retrospective spotlights a prolific purple patch in Ayers’ career, focusing on the mid-to- late 1970s when he took the vibraphone into the pop mainstream via a series of commercially successful albums for Polydor Records.Roy’s Band, which had previously been known as the Roy Ayers Quartet - a name that Ayers thought was too “square” and described as “a drag” - morphed into a much larger ensemble called Roy Ayers Ubiquity. Ayers said: “At that time, in 1970 when I joined Polydor, my manager, said ‘Roy, you should name the group Ubiquity.’ I said what does that mean? ‘Ubiquity means a state of being everywhere at the same time.’ I said, ‘That’s fate because if everyone has one of my albums I will be everywhere.’ I thought it was great so I started using that name.”

Milk & Sugar are back with the 2021 edition of their ‘House Nation Ibiza’ compilation series, hitting stores right in time for the end of this year's summer season on the white island.Since the 1970s Ibiza has been a hotspot for all who love celebrating life and music. The special vibe of the Balearic Island makes it an essential place-to-be during the summer months. Soon, the season is coming to an end for this year but thanks to Milk & Sugar's new edition of their beloved ‘House Nation Ibiza’ compilation series, the special feeling of ‘Isla Blanca’ can be captured and preserved for gray fall times.Whilst featuring different heavy weights of the current house music scene like David Penn, Claptone, Todd Terry, Mousse T, Mark Knight, Tube & Berger or Wankelmut, this year’s edition also sees a huge Earth n Days rework of Milk & Sugar’s single ‚All I Need (Is Believe)’ alongside a driving Alaia & Gallo remix of Milk & Sugar's all-time classic 'Let The Sun Shine' - exclusively included on this mix album.
